Luminate is proud to serve as the Independent Engineer for Clēnera’s Crimson Orchard project, which recently reached a key milestone by securing $304 million in financing. Located in Elmore County, Idaho, the project features 120-MW of solar generation paired with 400-MWh of battery storage, with commercial operation expected in the first half of 2027. Crimson Orchard is supported by a 20-year busbar solar power purchase agreement and a 20-year energy storage tolling agreement with Idaho Power.
Our team provided independent engineer support for tax equity and construction financing, reviewing the technical, engineering, and environmental aspects of the project.
