Luminate is excited to announce our role as the Independent Engineer for three major renewable energy and battery storage projects in Puerto Rico. Backed by over $1.2 billion in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office (LPO), these projects mark a significant step in Puerto Rico’s transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy and battery storage systems through 2032. As the Independent Engineer, Luminate is proud to contribute its technical, engineering, and environmental expertise to help support the successful development of the Convergent, Yabucoa, and Pattern projects.
