Luminate is proud to serve as the Independent Engineer for the 240-MW Dolet Hills Solar Project in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana, developed by D.E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI) in partnership with Cleco Power. Construction has officially begun following the issuance of full notice to proceed.
The project is supported by a 25-year power purchase agreement with Cleco Power and represents DESRI’s first construction project within Cleco’s service territory. Commercial operations are expected to begin in 2027.
In our role as Independent Engineer, Luminate is providing detailed technical, engineering, and environmental reviews to help support the successful execution of this renewable energy project.
