Luminate Hires Power Industry Veteran Michele Blanco
Denver, CO April 30, 2007: Luminate, LLC announced today the hiring of power industry veteran Michele Blanco, as Associate Director. Ms. Blanco joins the firm following five years with Calpine, where she was responsible for cash flow and profitability for a portfolio of thirteen power plants in the Western U.S. She has also spent 12 years in various management roles at the Electric Power Research Institute, following work as a power production engineer for Pacific Gas & Electric. Ms. Blanco is a registered Professional Engineer, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Ms. Blanco reports to Mike Robinson, President, who remarked, “We are excited to have Michele join our team and believe she will be a key asset in providing high caliber services to our clients.”
