Luminate is pleased to announce that Kim Clark has joined our renewables team, with a focus on wind and solar renewable energy advisory services.
Kim has 18 years of experience, including 14 years in the energy industry spanning component design and manufacturing engineering roles to wind farm operations and maintenance management. Previous positions included manufacturing design for high power thin film capacitors, designing a CdTe thin film photovoltaic manufacturing line, NERC CIP analysis and process management for a large utility, and field engineering and business development for a multi-national engineering consultancy. Kim has participated in many energy industry associations’ activities, including NERC CIP standards evaluations, AWEA drivetrain reliability guidelines, and UVIG, AWEA and CanWEA member events. Prior to joining Luminate, Kim served as Consulting Engineer at ONYX InSight, an independent wind turbine drivetrain reliability engineering firm, providing condition monitoring, field engineering and design engineering services to wind turbine owners, operators and manufacturers globally. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
