Final Inventory Rules

On October 31, 2009, EPA finalized rules that require annual inventories and reporting from the larger emitters of Greenhouse Gases, which will affect power plants and some ethanol producers among others. Affected facilities will be required to submit the first inventory by March 31, 2011 covering greenhouse gases emitted during 2010. Additionally, both the House and Senate have introduced bills addressing greenhouse gases.
