Luminate serves as Independent Engineer on "North American Acquisition Deal of the Year 2009"
The award, by Project Finance Magazine, was for Fortistar and EQT Infrastructure Fund's acquisition of the 1,560MW Midland Cogeneration power plant. Luminate served as Independent Engineer in support of the debt financing on the deal led by WestLB and Union Bank N.A.
Luminate named "Energy Advisory Firm of the Year - North America 2009
The award, by ACQ Finance Magazine, recognizes Luminate as an industry leading energy advisory firm. The honor was based on the nominations made by ACQ's in-house panel and nearly 3,000 responses to a poll of industry participants. Guided by the poll's results, ACQ's editors selected those firms that they believe had the greatest impact on the industry in 2008 / 2009.
Luminate serves as Independent Engineer on "North American Ethanol Deal of the Year 2007"
The award, by Project Finance Magazine, was for Pacific Ethanol's $325 million project finance facility for a 220 million gallon per year portfolio of five ethanol plants. Luminate served as Independent Engineer on behalf of the lenders in support of the financing.
