Ms. Searcy has 20 years of experience in the electric power industry, plus a number of years of other industrial experience. She has provided a variety of consulting services with respect to power generation and biofuel production facilities, including managing independent engineering reviews of power generating and ethanol facilities in support of financing. She has managed and performed a wide spectrum of due diligence analysis including mechanical, environmental, operations and maintenance, project contracts and agreements, and financial model review. Ms. Searcy has performed annual reviews of operating plants to assess performance and compliance with various contractual and other requirements, and attended performance tests of facilities to observe facility performance and air emissions. She has also performed environmental studies associated with the permitting and licensing of various industrial facilities. Her experience includes coal-fired power plants, combustion turbine and cogeneration facilities, biomass fired facilities, municipal solid waste resource recovery facilities, and biofuel facilities. Ms. Searcy has held senior positions with other nationally-recognized consulting firms, including R.W. Beck and Stone & Webster, prior to joining Luminate. Ms. Searcy is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
